Hi! I'm Emily and I love wine.
I am a Certified Sommelier, Italian Wine Professional, French Wine Scholar, Spanish Wine Scholar and Napa Valley Wine Expert. I work as a sommelier at a 1 Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Sonoma's Wine Country.
While I have spent much time learning about and selling ( and if I am lucky-- tasting!) the most expensive wines in the world, I know that extraordinary wines are made at all price points. You just need to know where to look.
During the beginning stages of Covid-19 shutdown, I launched a social media based fundraiser for UndocufundSF* The premise was simple, make a donation and I would make wine recommendations based on your preferences. The most common request was for quality wines of all styles, under $20.
I decided to delve deeper, using the skills and knowledge I have learned as a sommelier to give the people what they really want-- delicious, affordable wine!
